as posted by the channelPhoenix Police released bodycam footage showing a shootout with an alleged carjacker. When responding officers arrived on the scene, the suspect broke into a nearby home and began firing at officers from the second-floor windows. Officers took cover and returned fire. After several hours, the Special Assignments Unit (SPU) arrived on the scene and negotiated a peaceful surrender with the suspect. The suspect sustained minor injuries during the shootout. A lieutenant was injured by shrapnel during the shooting.
