as posted by the channelGunfire erupted outside a New Jersey Dollar General store when police shot an allegedly armed suspect when he apparently grabbed his weapon on May 24. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office released multiple bodycam videos showing the incident unfolding. Authorities say officers responded to two emergency calls about a man, 37-year-old Jalial Whitted, who allegedly fired a gun inside a Dollar General in Absecon, New Jersey. When officers arrived, they pleaded with Whitted to comply before five officers opened fire on him after he apparently reached for his gun. Authorities say Whitted survived the incident.
