A Colorado police officer punched a woman in the face after she spat in his face on May 20. After the incident, the Loveland Police Department fired 28yearold Russel Maranto for unnecessary use of force. Maranto and another officer held 59yearold Angelia Hall at a hospital for evaluation after she was found wandering in the streets. No charges have been filed against the officer.
