The mother of YNW Melly’s ex-girlfriend took the stand in the rapper's double murder trial Thursday. Prosecutors say Felicia Holmes allegedly heard a phone call between the rapper and her daughter after the killings. At the time of the crime, she told investigators everything she remembered about the call, including incriminating statements from YNW Melly, born Jamell Demons, but during her recent deposition before trial, she claimed she didn’t remember anything and she has nothing to say about the call in question. While on the stand, she testified that she was afraid she’d be sent to jail if she didn’t cooperate, she felt threatened, and police bullied her daughter.
