During his testimony Wednesday, Sgt. Christopher Williams said he believes the defensive wound on Christopher Thomas Jr., aka YNW Juvy, proves he had no idea he or Anthony Williams, aka YNW SakChaser, were about to be shot. “Mr. Thomas was not aware of what was going on,” Sgt. Williams said. “He was taken by surprise with his hands being up, almost saying ‘don’t shoot!’” The crime scene detective said he can confirm the victims were shot inside the car and were not hit during a drive-by shooting. YNW Melly is currently on trial for the murders of his two friends — prosecutors say he tried to cover up the crime by claiming he was involved in a drive-by shooting.
