Upon entering, they quickly locate the shooting victim, 22-year-old Nathaniel Baez, lying on the floor of a nail salon inside the store. The chaotic scene underscores the urgency and danger faced by law enforcement in such critical situations.

According to authorities, the shooting occurred after a heated altercation between two groups of three people escalated into gunfire. Tragically, Baez lost his life, and a stray bullet also struck and injured an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire. Police have identified and arrested the alleged gunman, 25-year-old Steve Lestin, who now faces charges of second-degree murder and attempted felony murder.
