Florida dentist Charlie Adelson faces trial for allegedly hiring hitmen to kill his ex-brother-in-law, Dan Markel, a former law professor at Florida State University. Adelson is accused of being the ring leader in Markel’s brutal murder. This is the fourth and final trial in the 2014 murder case, following guilty convictions of the three others involved — Katherine Magbanua, Sigfredo Garcia, and Luis Rivera.
