YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe family of Maya Kowalski, the subject of Netflix’s “Take Care of Maya,” allege that a report of child abuse from Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital led to Beata Kowalski taking her own life. The Kowalski’s are suing doctors, the Department of Children and Families, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital for $200 million dollars in connection to Beata’s death. According to court documents, the child abuse case against Beata was pushed forward after Maya’s physician confirmed her condition, complex regional pain syndrome, was not the fault of her parents. During the time Beata was separated from Maya, she took her own life.
Trial Moments:
Total Deliberation Time For Day One: 04:26:15
Regarding Jury Verdict: Your Verdict must be Unanimous, that is, your verdict must be agreed to by each of you. When you have agreed on your verdict, finished filling out the form, your foreperson must write the date and sign it at the bottom and return the verdict to the bailiff.
(Jury Question, First Jury Note): We'd like to access (economist) Kristy Kirby's financial money document that possesses the lost earned moneys that Maya would earn, also we have docs we need to review but don't know how to find it. Jury has not been able to open the docs on the flash drive given to them.
Second Jury Note: 6:15pm We will be done TY!
Third Jury Note: 2nd Note: Y'all, we have not been able to locate any of the calculations about future amounts. Witness Kurby was on zoom and Whitney mentioned them today. It was said that we have all this at deliberation. Well...if we do have it, we ain't found it in all these files. So, without these witness figures, you'll be lucky if the there will be enough awarded to pay your gas to drive to court, or we'll be here til next Friday.
