38:11Now PlayingCharlie Adelson was convicted for plotting the murder of his former brother-in-law and FSU law professor Dan Markel. Adelson hired three people to kill Markel — Markel was gunned down outside his Tallahassee home in 2014. At the time of his murder, Markel was in a brutal divorce and custody battle with Adelson’s sister, Wendi Adelson. Days after his conviction, Adelson’s mother — Donna Adelson — was arrested for the same charges Charlie has just been found guilty of. Charlie will be sentenced Tuesday and is expected to spend the rest of his life in prison.
