12:28Now PlayingAttorneys for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital are demanding a new trial after they claim there were several instances of juror misconduct. Among examples, hospital attorneys told a judge in a hearing Friday that one juror called a psychiatrist who testified in the trial a “Nazi” and that social media messaging between a husband and wife allegedly about the trial broke sequestering rules. The hospital was found liable for the death of Beata Kowalski, the mother of Maya Kowalski, who was the subject of Netflix’s “Take Cara of Maya” documentary. The Kowalski family was awarded $261 million in damages.
