Six lawyers who represent the co-defendant of former president Donald Trump in the Georgia election tampering case made a combined closing argument about why district attorney Fani Willis should be thrown off the case. “Prosecutors don’t act like this, lawyers don’t act like this,” one of the lawyers explained to the judge. “They need to go.” Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade are accused of having an intimate relationship during the tampering investigation which allegedly has clouded their ability to try the case.
