The Albuquerque Police Department said Ethan Hunter successfully outran officers with the Las Vegas Police Department twice after allegedly opening fire at a mortuary. Hunter was caught during the third pursuit after he crashed and ran into the Albuquerque Foothills, where nearly a dozen officers tracked him down and carried him into custody. Hunter later pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing in all three cases and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.
