as posted by the channel

A Florida woman was arrested after allegedly taking off from a traffic stop and abandoning her car. Police caught up with Corin Perkins, 33, after a K9 officer led police to a home near the abandoned car. Investigators figured out Perkins and a man hitched a ride from that home to another nearby residence where Perkins eventually admitted to fleeing the stop saying she “can’t afford to go to jail.” Perkins later pleaded no contest to multiple charges including fleeing or eluding, driving with a revoked license, and failure to register a vehicle. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for time served. Watch the incident unfold on this episode of Law&Crime BodyCam.
