as posted by the channelJust months after a Brazilian woman was charged with poisoning a Christmas cake meant for her extended family, another woman has been arrested for a similar crime. Brazilian authorities say Jordélia Pereira Barbosa poisoned an Easter-themed dessert and had it delivered to her ex-boyfriend’s new family. Mirian Lira and two of her children were hospitalized, with seven-year-old Luis Fernando succumbing to the alleged toxins. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber spoke with Brazilian criminal defense attorney Adrielli Barca about the investigation.
