Investigators found no evidence of an abduction, but instead discovered disturbing clues including surveillance footage showing only Randle, the smell of bleach in the home, and a blood-stained blanket in Randle’s boyfriend’s car — leading to a confession from Randle that she beat Nola with a belt until she collapsed.
