In the traffic stop from August 2022, Kohberger is pulled over for speeding — reportedly going 42 in a 35 mph zone. He also admitted to not wearing a seatbelt. After the officer issued his $10 citation and fine, Kohberger asks the officer specific, chilling questions about police work. Three months later, Kohberger killed four University of Idaho students: Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin.
