Investigators say Robinson’s family turned him in after recognizing him in “person of interest” photos, and FBI evidence ties him to the high-powered rifle and shell casings inscribed with politically charged and meme-based messages. Authorities are now probing whether Robinson’s relationship with his transgender roommate and his immersion in online gaming and radical internet spaces may have motivated the politically driven attack.
