YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAuthorities in Wisconsin say 23-year-old Cora Laskiewicz, who had severe autism, died in January 2023 weighing just 70 pounds after years of isolation and lack of medical care under her mother’s guardianship. Investigators determined Cora died from dehydration and malnutrition, ruling her death a homicide, and charged her mother, Amy Laskiewicz, with recklessly subjecting an at-risk individual to abuse causing death. Amy later entered an Alford plea and was sentenced to 20 years in prison, with the judge comparing Cora’s condition to victims of World War II concentration camps.
