Investigators later revealed the child had been dead for days before Jake and his wife, Rebecca, went on TV with their fabricated story — and while Jake took a plea deal, Rebecca continues to fight murder charges and maintains her innocence. The judge handed down the maximum 25-years-to-life sentence, plus additional time for a prior child abuse case in which Haro had already been given a “second chance.” Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
