Investigators say the victims drank wine laced with acetonitrile, and prosecutors allege Gudrun researched the chemical’s effects before the meal. As detectives dug deeper, they also charged her with a separate first-degree murder tied to a 2007 house fire, reopening a nearly 20-year-old cold case. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
