Newly released bodycam shows the Virginia man accused of killing his wife sobbing, crying, and praying for his wife in the hospital after investigators claim he killed her. Brendan Banfield is accused of killing his wife, Christine, and another man, Joseph Ryan, inside the family’s home in February 2023. Brendan Banfield and the family au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhães, were reportedly in a relationship at the time of the murders. Prosecutors claim Brendan Banfield orchestrated an elaborate plot to kill Christine and stage the scene as a home intrusion so he could be with the family’s au pair.
