as posted by the channelA routine traffic stop in New Berlin, Wisconsin quickly spiraled out of control when 40-year-old Christopher Nelson, who had six prior DUIs, was pulled over for swerving and appeared heavily intoxicated with his dog in the car. After refusing parts of field sobriety testing and becoming combative, including spitting at officers, Nelson was arrested and later recorded a blood alcohol level of 0.223. He ultimately pleaded no contest to multiple charges, including OWI and battery on law enforcement, and was sentenced to six years in prison with release scheduled for 2030.
