as posted by the channel

Robert Gary Spohr and Wendy Wood were a wealthy couple who built a $23 million real estate empire in Lake Tahoe, California, over decades of hard work. On June 5, 2021, they were shot in their Homewood residence. Gary died instantly from a gunshot to the head, while Wendy survived long enough to call 911 but later took her own life after months of recovery. Surveillance footage captured a masked figure fleeing the scene, and investigators spent two years piecing together evidence, including cell phone records, financial documents, and family testimony.
