as posted by the channelOn February 25, 2025, Winlock, Washington Police Chief Stephen Valentine found Donald Piccolo, 61, and Kimberly Torres, 51, brutally killed inside their home during a welfare check, both bearing severe chop force injuries inflicted with swords. Evidence left at the scene, including Chandler's clothing, identification cards, and witness accounts, pointed directly to Robert Eugene Chandler, who was already in custody on an unrelated Department of Corrections violation. In the weeks surrounding the murders, Chandler was observed behaving erratically, talking to people who were not there, and yelling at trees for hours. After being interviewed about the murders in jail, he called his mother and asked her to wash the bloody clothes in his backpack. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated murder.
