as posted by the channel

A mother in Oregon is accused of meticulously planning to kill her three young sons by luring them into a "sleepover" in the family car with popcorn before allegedly exposing them to carbon monoxide through a homemade exhaust system. Investigators say Chardonnay Benevidez researched painless death methods, purchased supplies online, and admitted she didn't want the children's father to have custody, but the plan unraveled when the children became distressed and she called 911. The boys survived, but prosecutors say chilling evidence, including a week of planning, a gun in the vehicle, and a nearly emptied home, points to a deliberate murder plot that has now landed the mother behind bars on three counts of attempted murder. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart is On the Case.
