Police found Robert Fabel, 49, parked in a park when he admitted to drinking at home earlier in the day, according to the Ledyard Police Department. One officer attempted to cut Fabel a break and let the 49-year-old find a ride home, but Fabel allegedly drove home anyway where police were right on his tail.
