Over two decades after the 1999 death of Black’s 6-year-old son, Black is on trial for allegedly murdering William Dashawn Hamilton. Hamilton’s death was allegedly caused by “a substance(s) containing Diphenhydramine and Acetaminophen." Black allegedly never reported that her son was missing. She is being charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of cruelty to children, aggravated assault, and concealing the death of a person.
