3:01:36Now PlayingNicolae Miu took the stand on Tuesday afternoon to plead his case, stating that he used a knife in self-defense after teenagers allegedly taunted and physically assaulted him while tubing on the Apple River. Miu repeatedly mentioned during his testimony that he was scared for his life, as the group was allegedly punching and pushing him into the water. Miu also admitted to lying to the police when he initially claimed that the knife used in the stabbings was not his. Closing arguments are expected Wednesday morning.
