Walter Murphy, the alleged co-founder of YSL, took the stand and told the jury about the start of the music group and whether or not it turned into a gang. Murphy went to prison for seven years for his involvement in an April 2015 shooting. He was named in the YSL indictment and took a plea deal in December 2022.
