YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTensions were high between the judge and Ashley Benefield's defense attorney during a pretrial hearing on Tuesday. While Benefield's defense argued a motion for clarification, the attorney stated that he believed the court was biased toward women. The defense said, “I know the court doesn’t appreciate this, but there is a bias against women.” The judge quickly fired back, saying, “Did you just say I didn’t appreciate it?” calling out the attorney and expressing disagreement with the statement. The trial is expected to begin on July 22 with jury selection.
