When the police discovered his dead mother, she had brutal injuries to her head, neck, and face. Dazey allegedly told police that his mother, Jennifer Ann Dazey, practiced witchcraft against him. Dazey is also accused of murdering the family dog. Dazey could face up to life behind bars if convicted. The 28-year-old was deemed competent for trial after a series of evaluations.
