Follman initially thought Dazey might have had a seizure, as she knew she had experienced them before, but the amount of blood she discovered concerned her, so she quickly called 911.

Tyler Dazey was charged with first-degree murder after his mother was found murdered and beaten inside her Iowa home. When police discovered Jennifer Dazey dead, she had brutal injuries to her head, neck, and face. Tyler Dazey allegedly told police that his mother was practicing witchcraft before murdering Jennifer and the family dog. Dazey could face up to life behind bars if convicted. The 28-year-old was deemed competent for trial after a series of evaluations.
