as posted by the channelOn Friday, new Young Thug Judge Paige Reese Whitaker held an attorney-only hearing to get caught up with the RICO case and set new scheduling in place before the trial continues. During the hearing, Judge Whitaker mentioned that the jury may not be brought back in until sometime in August, so the court can go over motions without them. She also made new guidelines about eating in court, changing clothes and defendants wearing headphones.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
