Michael Ricci was allegedly experiencing manic episodes in the week leading up to the deadly altercation. Christine Ricci claims the stabbing was in self-defense after he allegedly lunged at her, lodging the knife in his chest. Their 16-year-old child called 911 and Christine Ricci was arrested. First responders said Michael, a Boston firefighter, had been stabbed in the heart. Christine faces trial for murder.
