as posted by the channelPolice officer Anthony Mariscal took the stand on Friday where the state played the bodycam footage of the moment police arrived at the scene and discovered 69-year-old journalist Jeffery German dead in his home. German’s neighbors became concerned when they noticed his garage door was open late at night, and saw a red sedan parked in the front of his house. They thought it was odd he hadn’t been outside in the past 24 hours so they called police, worried he was dead.

Robert Telles is accused of murdering Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Jeff German. After German had written several articles about Telles, a public administrator at the time, he was found stabbed to death outside his home in September 2022. Prosecutors claim Telles’ DNA was found under German’s fingernails. Telles has pleaded not guilty and says he was framed for the murder.
