12:01Now PlayingAs 15-year-old Carly Gregg’s trial began Monday afternoon, state attorney Kathryn White Newman provided the jury with insight as to why the state believes the 14-year-old is guilty of murdering her mother. Newman said that Carly’s friend revealed that he was worried about her prior to the murder and the warning signs were there. Additionally, Carly later called her friends for help after allegedly murdering her mother, and later showed one of her friends her mother’s dead body.
