Smith claimed that he joined Johnson in the 2021 murder of the rapper Young Dolph. Security camera footage was shown, during which Smith identified himself and the defendant just moments before the shocking murder.

Beloved rapper Young Dolph, real name was Adolph Thornton Jr., was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee back in November 2021. Several suspects have been charged in connection with his death. One of them, Justin Johnson, aka Straight Drop, faces trial for the murder of the rapper. If convicted, Johnson could face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
