The bodycam footage shows the chaos unfolding after defendant Quinton Nixon allegedly shot Toni Westover to death for an unknown reason. Police say Nixon quickly fled from the scene before police arrived.

Ohio man Quinton Nixon, 31, was arrested in August 2022 following a standoff with Akron police for allegedly shooting and killing 34-year-old mother Toni Westover. Westover was found dead inside a Kenmore home in July 2022. Police searched for Nixon after receiving several tips about his whereabouts and eventually found him hiding inside a University Park attic. Nixon was charged with murder and will represent himself during the trial. He faces life in prison.
