A detective returned to the stand on Wednesday morning and testified about the murder investigation of Shymel Drinks. YSL members Shannon Stillwell and Quamarvious Nichols aka Qua-Qua were arrested in connection to his death after a chase on March 17, 2022. On cross, the detective was grilled about rapper Young Thug's missing Richard Mille watch during a search warrant. The detective denied stealing the rapper's watch.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
