One of the topics that was brought up was an attorney requesting the trial date to be moved, due to leave of absence. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker was not happy, stating that she never knew about the attorney asking for a leave of absence. Judge Whitaker said the leave was never filed. However, jury selection was pushed back to March 3rd.
