In the trial against Penelope McGee, the state called Dr. Ayobami Olufadeji to the stand. He was the emergency physician that worked on Savitz when he arrived at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The doctor detailed what the patient looked like as he arrived and the life saving medical procedures that were taken. Ultimately, Savitz was pronounced dead after 40 minutes at the hospital.
