Peggy O’Keefe, the mother of slain Boston police officer John O’Keefe, took the stand on Wednesday and recalled the horrific day she received a phone call informing her that her son had been found in the snow and was being taken to the hospital. She broke down as she remembered seeing Karen Read at the hospital and ignoring her after learning that John had died from his severe injuries.
