Attorney Robert Alessi quickly grew heated during a motions hearing following the conclusion of the first day of jury proceedings in Karen Read’s second trial. Alessi snapped at the judge over what he believes to be repeated instances of the state misstating facts throughout the day. Additional motions were also filed and discussed with the judge, including a discovery violation and other issues related to evidence.
