Paramedic Timothy Nuttall was the state's first witness in the Karen Read trial on Tuesday. Nuttall was the firefighter and paramedic who arrived at the scene where Read's Boston cop boyfriend, John O'Keefe, was found lying in the snow. He testified that he attended to the cop and heard Read say that she "hit him" several times.
