YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAs the trial against Karen Read continued on Monday morning, the first witnesses to take the stand were Ryan Nagel and Heather Maxon, who testified about seeing Karen Read and John O’Keefe prior to his death. Nagel stated that he had been drinking at McCarthy's and saw Karen Read get into her car, noting that there was no one in the passenger seat when she left the bar. He testified that John O’Keefe was not in the car with Read when she departed and that he believed her taillight was intact. He also said that she was not driving erratically and stayed in her lane. Maxon later testified that she recalled seeing a woman driving a black SUV with a man in the passenger seat as they were heading to 34 Fairview to pick up Nagel’s sister. She then said she did not remember the SUV pulling up as Nagel described but did recall seeing the woman inside the vehicle with the dome light illuminated as they drove away.
