as posted by the channelTwenty-two-year-old Carlos Reales Dominguez is on trial for allegedly killing David Breaux and Karim Najm in a string of brutal stabbings in Davis, California, in late April and early May 2023. One survivor, Kimberlee Guillory, was attacked at an encampment. Due to mental health concerns, Dominguez was first declared incapable of standing trial, but following psychiatric treatment, he was found competent. He entered a not guilty by reason of insanity plea in October 2024. His trial will decide whether he will be committed to a mental health hospital or face life in prison.
