Lara Scarpati, a detective with the Tarpon Springs Police Department at the time of the murder, took the stand Friday. Scarpati was assigned to help locate the missing car that belonged to Laura Ivancic, one of the victims. That car was able to be located at a residence in Ohio where the defendant, Shelby Nealy, was staying with his two children. Detectives also found items from the crime scene inside the car.
