as posted by the channelIn Facebook messages detectives looked at sent by Shelby Nealy, the defendant, called himself a “criminal genius.” These messages were between Shelby and another person named Abby. Detectives went through thousands of messages sent to people in the month of December, around when Richard, Laura, and Nick were killed. Shelby seems to be reading a book the whole time the prosecution and the witness were going through the messages.
