Prosecutors allege Michaels confessed to attacking him with a wooden stick and admitted it was "very possible" she killed him, though she denied remembering and never admitted to the decapitation. Now, instead of serving a reduced sentence with parole eligibility, she will face trial for open murder, which could lead to life in prison without parole if convicted.
