On Friday, closing arguments began in the case against Herbert Swilley. He is accused of drugging and killing his husband, Tim, in March 2023. The state said that Tim was successful and happy at the time of his death, and he was everything that the defendant wasn’t. They went on to say that all the actions Herbert showed after his husband’s death show he didn’t care about Tim and only wanted his life insurance money.
